Starting a new business is nerve-wrecking for everyone, even more so for academics attempting to introduce their new innovations to the market, especially if it is for the first time. It is necessary to expose them to systematic strategies to reduce the numbers of failures, and to increase the chance of successfully bringing their carefully researched and developed innovations to the market.
In this one-day workshop on entrepreneurship, experienced leaders who have successfully developed an incubation centre for entrepreneurs-to-be from a university setting will discuss in great details the trials and tribulations of entrepreneurship.
The discussion will be conducted in the form of a forum. The forum will be moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wan Nurhayati Wan Ab. Rahman (Deputy Director, Putra Science Park – Innovation Promotion and Commercialisation). The distinguished panellists are
